On a chilly autumn evening, Katie and Ollie eloped at Big Meadows in the Shenandoah National Park. Katie let me decide the precise location of their tiny ceremony and so I headed for the best spot I knew. It did not disappoint.

Jordan and Diana’s backyard wedding on the Chesapeake Bay was the epitome of simplicity. Seriously…25 total guests and a quiet ceremony on a blanket in the sand in front of a tall pine tree, followed by dinner on the deck and a relaxing bonfire. Smiles all day long. We need more weddings like Jordan and Diana’s wedding.
Oh yeah, and we got to make moonlit wedding portraits on the bay. Dreams do come true.
